Nissia Neolithic Settlement

This site, dating to 5200–4800 BC, represents the oldest known settlement in the Protaras area and the largest Neolithic village excavated in Famagusta district. Covering 2,750 square meters between Vyzakia and Lombardi beaches, it includes remnants of 40 dwellings, a protective wall, and artifacts like vases, stone figurines, and picrolite necklaces.
